Preview before you publish

RealResizer shows you exactly how your image will appear on any platform — from an Instagram Story to a YouTube thumbnail to a LinkedIn feed post. Pick a destination preset, crop and resize to the exact dimensions, then cut and see the result inside a realistic device mockup. You get the full preview before anything leaves your device.

How it works

  • Upload an image (drag and drop, paste from clipboard, or browse).
  • Choose a platform preset — Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Spotify, Apple Music, or SoundCloud.
  • Adjust the crop with the rulers and the corner handle, then press CUT.
  • Tap See how it looks to preview the result inside a realistic platform mockup.
  • Export as PNG, JPEG, or WebP.

100% private, 100% free

Every image is processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server — there are no accounts, no sign-up, and no image data leaves your device. The tool is free to use with no watermarks and no sign-up required.

How it works under the hood

  • Images stay on your device. Your picture is loaded into an in-memory canvas in your browser. It is never transmitted to any server, and it disappears when you close or refresh the page.
  • Supported formats. JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP images are accepted. Formats such as HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF, and SVG are not supported and cannot be opened by the tool.
  • No enforced file-size limit. Any image size is accepted, but very large images (roughly over 20 megapixels) may slow down an older or low-memory browser.
  • Quality is up to you. PNG export is lossless — it keeps every pixel. JPEG and WebP export use an adjustable quality slider (default 92%), trading a little detail for much smaller files.
  • One image at a time. The tool processes a single image per session by design — this keeps everything simple, fast, and private.

See it in context before you post

RealResizer doesn't just resize — it shows your image inside the real platform interface, so you catch cropping, safe-zone, and legibility problems before they reach your profile. Here is how one image moves from upload to export:

  1. 1 · Crop to the platform ratio

Pick a preset, then frame the subject with the rulers and the corner handle. The crop stays locked to the platform's ratio.

  2. 2 · Preview in a realistic mockup

Tap See how it looks to check your image inside the platform interface — true to mobile, desktop, and TV views.

  3. 3 · Export sharp and ready

Download as PNG (lossless), JPEG, or WebP at the exact preset ratio, sized for your destination.

Explore every tool
